The Farrell Co., a residential construction company, had an out-dated website that needed a fresh look to appeal to a broader range of potential clients. The main goal of the site was to showcase photos of the high quality interior and exterior work of the company. All new content was developed to feature their client’s testimonials as well as their commitment to smart home technology and green construction. There was an additional challenge to move their site to a new host from Yahoo (which does not adequately support WordPress) while still maintaining their email accounts on Yahoo.
What I did:
- Developed a custom WordPress theme.
- Optimized and edited photos for home page slider and photo gallery.
- Implemented basic SEO.
- Migrated their hosting to HostGator from Yahoo while keeping their email active on Yahoo.
What Steve Farrell says:
We used Geri Macomber at The Webdom to help us design a new website for our business to replace a very old, outdated one. She was highly recommended to us by one of our clients. We really had no idea where to begin, but Geri used her expertise to guide us through the process. Geri was timely in her responses, creative and insightful. Even taking the time to hurdle some unexpected issues with Yahoo and get us onto a faster host site. We are very happy with the results and felt that is was very cost effective. “.
